This is a dry garden, wild (prairie) but full of botanical mediterranean plants.Based on the philosophy of the nurseryman/landscape gardener Olivier Filippi. No watering. Best periods are Spring to late June, and September/October after the first rains.

A Mediterranean dry garden with an english style nestled amongst vignyards above the Gignac canal. The garden was started in 2005 in open uncultivated vineyard land by Catriona and Charles Waterhouse. There are large beds of mediterranean plants -cistus, rosemaries, lavenders, alliums, iris and many grasses.. mixed with roses, and other flowering shrubs, perennials and ground cover plantings.This garden is not watered (once planting has been established) and no insecticides are used. There are 2 small greenhouses and many plants in pots around the cabane. plants are for sale when available.

Access: A75 dir. and exit Gignac, Dir towards Canet on D32. Take the 2nd left turn (1st turn after small road side villa with green shutters) and keep on the straight unmade up road leading through vineyards to Gignac canal metal bridge. Preferably park on road side before the bridge.
